Cold Vein is a dance through proxy, proposing a lack of adornment as singularity, where one voice vibrates into three.
Performed as a solo, duet, or trio, the dance begins with the premise of the female trio. It negotiates this partnership and the habits of creative togetherness through loss. Evoking a spectral presence of the body, much like the disembodied voice of the recorded singer, Cold Vein asks: How do we dance with the ghosts of our familiars?
